Rockville Lions Serving The Community

The Rockville Centre Lions showed their appreciation to the medical and support staff at Mount Sinai South Nassau Hospital
in Oceanside this evening. The club delivered hot meals prepared by Craft Kitchen (Kasey’s) in Lynbrook to those
workers on the front line of the COVID-19 crisis. The hungry heroes were eager to partake and expressed their
gratitude for being remembered.

Eastern Lions Serving The Community

Lion Joan Joslyn, Secretary of Eastern Lions Club Bermuda, along with Rev Jay Tucker, Mr Douglas Joslyn, and Mr Steven Caines volunteering service for the feeding program sponsored by the Loren Hotel with donation from Butterfield Bank for seniors and vulnerable persons during this COVID-19 Pandemic.

Great Big THANK YOU to Lion Club of Valley Stream for donating 10,000 pair of gloves and 2500 protective shoe covers to LIJ Valley Stream Hospital. The donation was hand delivered by Club President Timothy Lawton. Your generosity and support during this difficult time is so important and so appreciated. 
Also, Thank you to all of the local Lions Clubs who, in true Lions fashion, continue to support our hospital workers with donations of food and snacks.

Rockville Lions Serving The Community

The Rockville Centre Lions Club jumped into action to support those heroes on the front line of the COVID-19 crisis. The Lions delivered both lunch and dinner to the medical professionals and support staff at Mercy Medical Center on Thursday, April 23. Both shifts were treated to a meal in gratitude for their efforts on behalf of those dealing with the virus. The effort was also an expression of support for the local businesses that prepared the meals. Special thanks to CJ’s Coffee Shop and Monaghan’s Restaurant for the delicious results.
Leo Kailey Sewell took time out of her studies to help Lions Ron Webb, Robin Webb, Kathi Collins, Michelle Sewell, Lisa Spatz and Anthony Paradiso deliver the meals.
