Dear Club Presidents and Secretaries,

Greetings, my continued best wishes to you and your loved ones through these challenging times. Here are some updates and reminders of the ongoings of our District. 

In the hopes of providing our members with helpful information, the District Website now has a Covid -19 Tab (see link below.) On it, we will be sharing information regarding Club communication, Community Service, Grant information, and Suggestions. Please share with us your thoughts and ideas and we will share them with the District.

With regards to upcoming District events:
Please be advised that in the interest of everyone’s health, the Lions District 20K2 Legacy of Lions Celebration scheduled for May 28, 2020 is postponed. We will recognize your member’s service and commitment to Lions at a future District event.  

This year’s Meet and Mingle with the Candidates scheduled for April 26, 2020 is canceled, as well as this year’s Walk for a Cause.

As your Club begins to nominate and elect new officers for the upcoming Lions year, you may find the following attachment helpful. Please don’t forget to complete your PU 101’s on the mylci website.

Communication among club members is vital in maintaining mutual support, a continuous dialog, and culminates a bond of togetherness. During this challenging time, we are learning how to communicate in different ways. We encourage our members to engage in communicating with each other by means that best fits the club members. Communication during this difficult time means so much to so many. Take the initiative and set up video conference calls or start a group text and send daily encouraging text messages. We are sure that it is bound to lift the spirits of all.
